2015 has been such a great year for me. It sure came with some ups and downs for my family. Some major changes happened in our family life. My freelance writing career flourished. This blog took a back seat for most of the year but gained momentum again during the last quarter. There definitely were challenges but there were lots of blessings as well.

Before 2015 ends, I’d like to take a look back at the year and how I was able to capture some of the best things about it here on my blog. So, I’m sharing with you my most favorite blog posts for the year. Some of them are not necessarily those that got a lot of page views but all of them hold special meaning for me.

Here goes my 10 most favorite blog posts for 2015, in no particular order.

Staycation at Midas Hotel and Casino

MidasStaycation19

This was a memorable staycation that happened in January and coincided with Pope Francis’ visit here in the country. We had a great stay in the hotel and we got to see the Pope too!

Our Epic Canyon Woods Weekend

It’s not so often that we get to travel somewhere with my mom, siblings and relatives. During this trip, we were not only able to do so with my mom and siblings but with one of my aunts and her son too. This trip means a lot to us because it was our last family trip before my youngest brother and his family relocated to Davao.

Summer Fun Day at Paradizoo

This was our first Paradizoo trip and it took place at the same time we were booked at Canyon Woods.

On Motherhood and Heartaches

Motherhood_heartbreak

This post went viral when I published it. I was really surprised because it was a very, very personal post about my struggle with my girls deciding to go live with their dad. It was way back in May and we have all settled into our new normal already by now. There are still struggles though but the most important thing is that we continue to learn how to thrive as a family despite the situation.

#PlanningForPleasure with My Shutterdori

Shutterdori

I love this post because it represents the first time I fell in love with using a traveler’s notebook as a planner. Now I  have 5 of them, with one that I made myself!

Unboxing The October BuriBox

BuriBox_October_9

I’m super happy that I discovered the BuriBox when they first launched and was also able to introduce it to other parents as well. I use it to homeschool my son. He loves it so much that I’ve continued subscribing to it monthly.

#SeeWhatOthersCantSee 10 Things I Love About the ASUS Zenfone2 Laser

ASUSZenfone2Laser_4

This is memorable to me because it was the first time I was asked by a brand to do a review of a mobile phone. I still use the Asus Zenfone2 Laser now and I love it!

#PlanningforPleasure at the PCPH Planner Party 2015

PCPHPlannerParty2015_5

I had so much fun attending my first planner party. There were a lot of freebies and giveaway prizes. It was also awesome to meet fellow planner addicts. I’m looking forward to joining more planner parties in the future.

My First #ZomatoPH Food Crawl at Westgate Center, Filinvest City

ZomatoAlabangFoodCrawl16

This experience was epic not only because it was the first ever Zomato event I attended but also because I really stuffed myself full of delicious food that day. It was definitely one for the books.

Experience Ribs Heaven (and more!) at Morganfield’s

MorganfieldsLaunch3

I loved that I was able to attend Morganfield’s launch recently courtesy of Zomato. I love discovering new restaurants and this one is really a great find. I love it so much we’re going back there soon!
