Hi guys! If you noticed, I’ve been MIA on this blog for about a week now save for one scheduled post last Friday. I was inactive here due to one very important reason – I finally gave birth to our baby boy! Woohoo!
Now, I’m really so excited to tell you all about the birth story but I have some pending blog posts that I wasn’t able to finish prior to giving birth. So, please allow me to finish those first starting with this review of Bubble Man.
Bubble Man is a dish washing liquid that I got to try starting last August. I was really excited about trying it because I wasn’t very happy with the dish washing liquid that we were using that time. Although my skin isn’t normally super sensitive, I found that it became so when I was pregnant. While it was normal for my skin to become dry easily, it became even drier during this time in my life to the point when the skin on my hands already started peeling. The fact that the brand we were using was chemical-based didn’t help.
So, I figured it’s about time we really go the natural route already when it comes to dish washing liquid, in the same way we’ve gone natural in a lot of the other products we use at home. Thankfully, I discovered Bubble Man. Manufactured by Mikewell Corporation, Bubble Man claims to be the only Safe, Effective and Affordable dish washing liquid in the Philippines. It’s currently available in 270 ml bottles and in three different scents – Lemon, Calamansi and Antibac.
We tried Bubble Man for over a month and I was really happy with all three variants. We normally pour a small amount of dish washing liquid in a small basin and dilute it with water and we did the same with Bubble Man. We discovered that even by doing this Bubble Man remained effective at washing away dirt, oil and grime from our dishes. Because we used very little of Bubble Man, we can wash more dishes with one bottle, making this an economical choice.
I also love the fact that the scents are not overpowering at all. it doesn’t have the smell most liquid detergents have, the kind that tells you that they reek of chemicals. My most favorite scent is the Lemon, although I found that Bubble Man doesn’t really leave any smell on the dishes at all after rinsing.
Aside from these, I am happy knowing that Bubble Man is biodegradable. At least, I know that we’re not hurting the environment by using this product.
But the thing I love the most about this brand is how gentle it is to my hands. After washing dishes, my hands don’t feel dry anymore. At this point, they’re no longer peeling either. I love that I don’t really have to put on lotion after washing anymore.
If there’s one thing that I don’t like about Bubble Man though, it’s the fact that it’s not yet available in all supermarkets. The supermarkets we usually frequent don’t carry this brand yet and so we’ll have to do some travelling still in order to purchase more bottles. I hope they become readily available in our area soon.

The scents are inviting! I also like the fact that they are not harsh to the hands as I sometimes wash my dishes without gloves. 🙂

You mentioned that it’s gentle to your hands and it’s a good catch for me as I wash our dishes without gloves. I normally have hand lotion on the side. This is a good one to recommend to my family back there.
