Review: Kids Plus+ by Tupperware Brands

I  grew up with Tupperware Brands. My parents were actually dealers of Tupperware products back when they were mostly selling plastic food containers and such. We loved the products because they were really sturdy and lasted years in our family.

What I didn’t know was that they’ve already branched out and are now have more extensive product offerings, which include skin care products, such as this line for kids called Kids Plus+. Well, fortunately for us, we were asked to try some of them out.

These are the Kids Plus+ products that we received.

• Kids Plus+ Shampoo
• Kids Plus+ Bath
• Kids Plus+ Cologne
• Kids Plus+ Lotion
• Kids Plus+ Powder

Here are more information about the products and what we think of them. I had our five-year-old son Ziggy try most of them out.

Kids Plus+ Shampoo

Gently cleanses and conditions kid’s sensitive hair and scalp. With Puricare and Cetiol Conditioners that deposit a film-like protective layer over hair while moisturizing kid’s hair and scalp. Prevents dryness and leaves hair feeling soft,silky and freshly fragrant. With a mild pH-balanced formula that won’t irritate kid’s skin and a fun, fruity scent that kids enjoy. Dermatologist-tested. Hypoallergenic. Kids Plus+ Shampoo is available in 3 sizes: 100 ml, 200 ml, and 300 ml.

Ziggy loves this shampoo because it smells great. According to him it smells like banana candy. Haha! I agree. It smells as sweet as candy indeed. You don’t need to use a lot for it to lather up, which is great because we only got a 100 ml bottle and I didn’t want us to consume it too fast! Rinsing is not a problem because it doesn’t take much water to rinse either. I love how Ziggy’s hair smells so good after using this. Plus his hair has become softer too.

Kids Plus+ Bath

Gently cleanses and conditions kid’s sensitive skin and hair. With Plantapon Skin Cleanser that gently removes dirt and cleans kid’s skin and hair while keeping it soft, smooth, and moisturized. With a mild pH-balanced formula that won’t irritate kid’s skin and a fun fruity scent that kids enjoy. Dermatologist-tested. Hypoallergenic. Kids Plus+ Bath is available in 100 ml, 200 ml, and 300 ml.

Like the shampoo, the bath has a similar sweet as candy scent. The scent lingers on his skin lightly after bath. It also lathers easily and rinses quite easily too. I love that it doesn’t make Ziggy’s skin dry unlike other soaps and body washes we’ve tried before.

Kids Plus+ Cologne

A gentle low-alcohol cologne with a special Hydraplus formula that contains moisturizers to help prevent dryness, leaving kid’s sensitive skin soft, smooth, and freshly fragrant. With a mild pH-balanced formula that wont irritate kid’s skin. This fun, fruity scent that kids enjoy lasts up to 3 hours before you need to reapply. Dermatologist-tested. Hypoallergenic. Kids Plus+ Cologne is available in 3 sizes: 100 ml, 200 ml, and 300 ml.

Ziggy doesn’t use cologne much. He only uses them whenever we have somewhere to go. This cologne smells like the shampoo and bath but the scent is more apparent when applied on the skin. It doesn’t irritate Ziggy’s skin and leaves him smelling fresh even after playing.

Kids Plus+ Lotion

A light lotion that’s smooth and gentle on the skin. With Nectapure to protect against pollution and 24Hr locked-in moisturizers and Vitamin E to leave kid’s skin feeling velvety smooth and soft all day. With a mild pH-balanced formula that won’t irritate kids skin and a fun, fruity scent that kids enjoy. Dermatologist-tested. Hypoallergenic. Kids Plus+ Lotion is available in 3 sizes: 100 ml, 200 ml, and 300 ml.

Ziggy super loves this lotion. He sees me applying lotion on my body every after bath and he likes to imitate me. He used to ask me to give him some of my lotion. Now he has his own. He loves applying this all over his body after his shower sessions. Even though the bath doesn’t leave his skin dry, this lotion adds another layer of moisture that keeps his skin soft and smooth all day. The scent is similar to the bath too so this is good for layering scents.

Kids Plus+ Powder

Gentle, ultra-fine powder ideal even for sensitive kids. With Allantoin that prevents irritation and inflammation while soothing kid’s skin and keeping it fresh and dry. This low-dusting mild formula also decreases the risk of inhalation. Comes in a fun, fruity scent that kids enjoy. Dermatologist-tested. Hypoallergenic. Kids Plus+ Powder is available in 4 sizes: 100g, 200g, 300g, and 400g.

Among all these products, this is the only one I didn’t allow Ziggy to try. Because of his history with asthma, we don’t use powder with him ever for fear of triggering the illness. Even though the description says that the formula decreases the risk of inhalation, we didn’t want to risk it. So I was the one who tried this instead. I love that the holes on the bottle are actually very small so you don’t dispense a lot of powder unintentionally. I hate that with other powders because it’s just a waste. I usually use powder on my back especially on hot days. This one is nice because it goes on light and it did keep me feeling fresh and dry.

Overall, we love Kids Plus+ products. Ziggy likes using them. The bath and shampoo makes him excited to take a shower. Dressing up after is also made more fun by the cologne and the lotion. We’d love to try the other products for kids.

The only thing I don’t like I guess would be the fact that they’re not readily available in supermarkets. Just like other Tupperware Brands products, you can only avail of them through their dealers and their own branches. But at least they have dealers and branches all over the country.
