Christmas is truly in the air, even at Robinsons Supermarket as it recently held the “Give Wellness” event at the Eastwood Mall in Libis, Quezon City last November 5, 2016. The event aimed to emphasize how good health and overall wellness is like a gift that is meant to be shared.

The “Give” promo is actually part of Robinsons Supermarket’s year-long campaign called Route to Wellness, which started with “Explore” in March, “Learn” in May, “Wellness Festival” in July, and “Celebrate” in September. The campaign is meant to encourage customers to go on a wellness journey and to collect premium items and gift certificates.

I attended the Give Wellness event with hubby and our two boys. We discovered a lot of Christmas-themed wellness activities on site that helped shoppers and families have  a merry experience discovering the meaning of sharing and giving back to the community.

We got to try the food and drinks available at the event and also got to watch the presentations on stage.

But the most fun we had was watching our Ziggy participate in the games. All the games there had a wellness theme going on. The first one Ziggy tried was the golf game, which he didn’t win. But that’s okay. The next one was this Feed Me Noche Buena booth wherein he had to identify vegetables from a pile of nutritious food. Then he had to “feed” them to “Santa”.

Ziggy also had to drive a mini shopping cart using a remote control towards the right key that will unlock a mystery box.

In the Five Golden Rings booth, he had to shoot some balls inside some Christmas stockings.

Our most favorite booth though is the Bike To Reach Php 100,000 booth wherein he had to pedal for 2 minutes in order to help reach Php 100,000 worth of donations to World Vision. At first the bike seat was too high for him but the assistants adjusted it just so he could try it and he did. He finished the 2 minutes even if he was getting tired already. So proud of our little kuya.

There was also a booth meant to look like a snow globe where you can take photos. Ziggy had one taken with Santa.

We had one family shot too and they gave us a printed copy of it.

So, what can shoppers expect from the Give promo, you ask?

For one, customers can get a free potluck bag for a minimum single receipt of Php 3,000 inclusive of Php 500 worth of participating products from Nestle, Foodsphere, Purefoods, Selecta, Unilever, Kojiesan, Del Monte, and Wyeth, during the promo period.

Customers can also get a Healthy You Wellness Reward worth Php 1,500 when they complete all 25 stamps of the Route to Wellness card. That is in addition to the Php 100 gift certificate they will receive when they complete 5 stamps within the promo period. Healthy You is Robinsons Supermarket’s exclusive healthy brand.

Also, for every Healthy You Wellness Reward availed by customers, Robinsons Supermarket will donate Php 10 to non-profit Christian humanitarian organization World Vision to further celebrate the spirit of giving.

The Give Wellness event, by the way, is not just gonna happen in Metro Manila though. It will travel to different areas nationwide to enable people to discover and share the gift of health and wellness to others throughout the Christmas season.

  6. I miss Robinson’s Supermaket! This one is in Eastwood. When I was still in Eastwood, we will usually have our grocery there before shift or even while on break. I should also try renewing my rewards card.
