So, I haven’t been posting any updates about my family recently. Well, I’ve just been so busy working. Not complaining, though. My being a WAHM seems to be working really well for me as business keeps getting better and busier. However, that also means lesser time to blog. Boohoo! Now, though, I am still awake at 1:24 a.m. uploading a back log of photos on Facebook. I thought I’d better update you with the goings on in my family life as well.
Let me start by sharing with you Zoe’s recognition day in school held last April 5. I can hardly believe that she already finished fifth grade! That only means one thing – she’ll be done with grade school next year. OMG! She’s growing up already and that scares me to death. I digress.
Anyway, I was excited about the recognition day because as usual, Zoe ended the year with honors. It’s really such a huge relief that she continues to do well in school even as she switched to a new one this past school year.
Here are some photos of the recognition day.
Here’s Zoe and I as we were preparing to march down the aisle waiting for her name to be called on stage. Earlier, it was her dad who marched with her during the entrance ceremony.

Here’s Zoe with her award! I had her dad take a photo as I was putting the medal on her but unfortunately the photo was blurred. So, this will have to do. I honestly don’t know how many medals Zoe already has since she started school at age 3. I’ve stopped counting! Aside from finishing with honors this year, she also got the Best in Conduct award. Props also goes to my daughter, Ziya, who finished fourth grade with the same award. I truly have the best kids ever!

During one of the musical presentations that day, the kids were asked to distribute letters to their loved ones. Here’s the one that Zoe made for me and Kai.

Here’s a photo of me and my girls after the ceremony. I wanted a family photo with Kai and Ziggy too. Unfortunately, it was so freaking hot at the venue and there was no ample parking and so Kai and Ziggy had to wait in the car.
Of course, we had to celebrate afterwards. So, off we went to Glorietta had lunch at Super Bowl. Here’s a photo of my kiddos at Super Bowl. So cute, right?

And finally, we were able to have that family photo. It may not have been at the recognition day venue but that’s alright. It was a great day to celebrate!

How did your kids end the school year? Hope they all did well too! 🙂
