One of the movies we’ve been waiting to come out this year is Transformers: Age of Extinction. Our family is a big Transformers fan and Ziggy, especially, has been so obsessed with them lately. He loves Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, whom he fondly calls “Octopus Prime”. Hahaha!

So, anyway, when PLDT Home DSL, the #1 residential wired broadband,  invited us to attend a special screening of Transformers: Age of Extinction at the Newport Cinemas at Resorts World Manila last June 27, we were beyond excited. It was the perfect way to start the weekend especially since that was the week that hubby got his lumbar strain and we’ve been shuttling from one doctor to the next. We were so tired that week so we were so grateful that PLDT Home DSL gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy a movie date as a family.

We’ve been PLDT Home DSL users for years and so we know what it’s like to experience their services first-hand. With all the gadgets we have at home, we really need a limitless, strong, reliable family-sized connection and PLDT provides us that.

As you all know by now, PLDT Home DSL’s most popular family as of late, the Ledesma family, has been in countless PLDT events these past few months. If you still haven’t seen the Ask Diego TVC and the Ask Diego Facebook page by now, you’ve probably been living under a rock. Of course, the entire Ledesma family was there for the Transformers screening too.

Until now, I can’t help but find Diego so cute. While waiting outside his Ate Trisha started blowing some bubbles and Diego jumped and ran around trying to catch them. Ziggy even joined in the fun! It was so “aliw” watching them play together. Even Mommy Lara was there encouraging the kids to play together.

I don’t know about you but I really like seeing families come together to bond and have fun. So, it was really nice seeing a lot of families there including the Ledesma family watching a movie together. They’re just like any other close-knit family.

We were just so happy to be spending Friday night watching a movie we’ve been dying to see!

Transformers: Age of Extinction was such a long movie, which lasted about 3 hours. Truth be told, it wasn’t the best one in the Transformers series. But I guess, it’s just me missing Shia LeBouf and Megan Fox together. I still think the first two movies in the series were the best ones. But this latest installment wasn’t at all bad. I found Mark Wahlberg and especially Stanley Tucci, extremely funny. I also love that there are new Autobots featured in this film compared to the ones before. Plus, it doesn’t disappoint in the excitement factor. It was definitely one action-packed movie that we all enjoyed.

Thanks PLDT Home DSL for inviting us once again. We had super fun!

  1. I loved it! Although there were some script holes here and there, it was the first Transformers movie I’ve actually enjoyed. But it was loooong…and dragging on some parts.

I loved Marky Mark and Stanley Tucci too though I do miss Megan Fox. I don’t miss Shia at all, haha. I hated all the screaming he did in the other Transformers movies. 😛

If I may add, what a good-looking family the Ledesmas are!
