I love blogging. It gives me tremendous joy to have my own place in the World Wide Web wherein I can share my thoughts and experiences. However, I’ve always hoped that this blog can do more not only for me and my family but for you readers as well.

Next month, I’ll be celebrating my fourth year in blogging. I think it’s high time that I take this blog to the next level. I just don’t know how. So, what am I to do?

I plan on attending the upcoming Professional Blogging Summit on Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the A.Venue Mall, Makati Avenue, Makati City.

Professional Blogging Summit

If you wish to explore freelancing, employment and other business opportunities online, this is an event you must not miss.

This event, which is in partnership with #DPOP “aims to gather professional bloggers and share their experiences in offering products or services online. Managing their online identity and work well with clients and suppliers”.

Bloggers, content creators, social media specialists, community managers, marketing specialists, entrepreneurs are all invited to attend. Although this is a “by invitation only” event, you can still apply to join. If your application is accepted, the organizers will let you know.

The agenda will be as follows:

12 noon to 1 pm – REGISTRATION

1:00 to 1:40 – Maintaining a Professional Bloggers and Social Media Specialists Network
Speakers / Panelists: JayL Santiago Aquino, Azrael Coladilla, and Ross Flores Del Rosario.

2:00 to 2:40 – Getting Clients, Professional Blogger Ethics, and Maintaining Goodwill Relationships

Panelists will share their experiences.

3:00 to 3:30 – SPONSOR TALK

Celebrity bloggers how they transitioned from blogger to brand endorsers and blog celebrity.

4:45 to 5:30 – From Bloggers to E-Commerce / Social Media Entrepreneurs
Speaker: Sai Sayson Montes, Janette Toral and more to be added.

Featuring hobbyists who sell through their blog, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels. They will share what works and what does not.

With this line up of talks, I’m sure I’ll be able to gather helpful insights that I can use to come up with ways on how to make this blog better. At the same time, it just might help me figure out how to get more clients and earn more. I’m excited already!

Up to 100 bloggers can register for this event. So, if you’re interested, head on over to this link and sign up now.

Hope to see you there!
