Spread the love

I have always been vocal about my love for all-natural products in this blog. I believe I’ve also featured a few of them here. One of those brands is ECHOstore, which is a brand I’ve started using since 2008, when it was first introduced to me by my former bosses, Chit Juan and Reena Francisco.

To those of you who haven’t heard of ECHOstore yet, let me tell you a little something about them.

ECHOstore Sustainable Lifestyle is the first concept store of its kind in the Philippines, founded in 2008 by three like-minded women who wanted to use their skills and experience to bring community, artisanal, health and beauty products to a specialty market.

ECHO is the acronym for Environment & Community Hope Organization STORE. It is the one place where you can get everything you need to start you on your way to living a sustainable lifestyle. Their business is about gathering local Filipino products that represent their ideals of health, fair trade, and care for the environment.

ECHOstore also develops natural and organic products for the body and for the home. In fact, they have something for everyone! You can find a variety of home decor, gifts, fashion accessories, health and wellness, body, beauty and nutritional products, food and beverage, products that help the environment, books, music and so much more in their stores.

I am pleased to tell you that they also now have a special line for children called ECHOKids. The people behind ECHOstore believes that the best way for kids to lead a healthier lifestyle all the way through adulthood is to start them young. As parents, we always worry about our little ones. We worry about what they touch with their hands, put in their mouths and about what they eat. We also worry about how using certain products will affect their health. As much as possible, we want to use products that don’t contain harsh chemicals and won’t cause allergies or itchiness.

ECHOstore knows exactly what our little tots will enjoy. They have come up with 5 products especially for them. I was so happy when they gave me a whole set for us to try.

So, now let me tell you all about these products one by one.

echokids_insect-repellanty-50ml

ECHOkids Insect Repellant 50ml (PHP 125.00)

Make sure your kids are safe from bug-bites with this all natural and organic insect repellant. The light and non-greasy formula is safe for kids and babies. Does not contain DEET.

I love that it comes in a spray container for easy application. I’ve used lotion-type insect repellant on my kids before and I find some of them to be really sticky especially when it’s hot outside. That is not the case with this product at all. This one also doesn’t have the super strong citronella scent that one can find in most all-natural insect repellant products. Kids hate that! This smells like a cologne and a bit strong at first application but as you rub in onto your skin, the scent mellows out.

echokids_head-to-toe-wash-50ml

ECHOKids Head-to-toe Wash 50ml (PHP 110.00)

Clean from head-to-toe with this invigorating wash infused with natural and kid-friendly ingredients. It contains NO parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate. Available in Mango Mandarin scent.

You might expect that the mango mandarin scent might smell like an antibac spray but it doesn’t. It actually smells of candy and citrus, which kids will absolutely love! My Ziggy really loves it. It also definitely makes bathing your kids easier and faster because you can use it for the hair and body as well. It comes in a squirt bottle too so it’s easy to use. I only wish it comes in a bigger bottle!

echokids_hand-sanitizer-50ml

ECHOKids Hand Sanitizer 50ml (PHP 99.00)

This soft and delicate sanitizer is a great way to disinfect when soap and water are not available. Available in Mango Mandarin scent.

I never leave home without a hand sanitizer.  There’s always one in my bag, one in Ziggy’s bag (if he’s coming with me) and always one big bottle in the car. Yep, that’s life with kids! I am obsessed with keeping my kids’ hands clean because I don’t want them to pick up germs and get sick. I totally love this product because not only does it do the job of cleaning hands, it also smells good! I’m gonna have to get one for each of my kids.

echokids_handand-body-50ml

ECHOKids Hand & Body Lotion 50ml (PHP 99.00)

A light and tender formulation designed to restore moisture and protect your child’s skin daily. Made with coco-glucoside, natural oil extracts, almond milk, vitamin E, stabilizer (plant-derived) and distilled water. Available in Mango Mandarin scent.

This is the product that Ziggy likes the most. Actually, he’s obsessed with it! Because he sees me put lotion on my hands several times a day, he has decided to copy me and put this lotion on his hands all the time too. He really loves the scent! I love it too because it goes on light and is non-greasy. Yes, moms, you can use it too! It’s actually the perfect size to tote around in your bag.

echokids-bath-soap-80g

ECHOKids Baby Soap 80g (PHP 89.00)

A mild and delicate soap for baby’s skin. It helps make the skin softer and silky smooth with this handmade, naturally formulated soap bar. Made with VCO, moisturizers and essential oils that gently cleans your baby’s skin. It is hypo-allergenic and contains NO phthalates, parabens, petrolatum or SLS. Safe, effective and natural. Ideal for babies, children and adults with sensitive skin.

Our family is not much of a bar soap user and prefer using liquid soaps and body wash instead. But whenever we do get around to buying bath soap, we choose the all-natural ones because they’re non-drying, such as this product. Plus, they’re guaranteed safe for everybody to use too.

Overall, I’m really pleased with this ECHOKids line of products. I love that they’re all 100% guaranteed made with no harmful chemicals and produced without animal testing. I love that they’re proudly Philippine-made and that they’re effective and smell good too. The only thing I wish for them to improve on is the size. Bigger bottles please! I know moms with more than one kid in the house will agree.

To those of you looking for Christmas gifts to give your kids, nephews, nieces and inaanaks, I highly recommend you give them these products. You can get them as a set and ECHOstore can package them for you! The ECHOKids line is now available in all ECHOstore branches in Metro Manila, Davao and soon in Cebu. You can also buy online 24/7 via shop.echostore.ph!
