When it comes to shoes for my kids, I tend to be really picky, and with good reason. Since their feet are still developing, it’s important for them to wear shoes that are made of good quality materials and will not hinder the growth and development of their feet. That is why, I don’t mind spending a bit more for good quality shoes even if I know they’ll outgrow them eventually.

However, it does put a strain on the pocket so finding a brand that offers great quality footwear in prices that don’t break the bank is a must. I found that when I found Meet My Feet.

Meet My Feet is a shoe brand for kids that caters to active and bubbly toddlers up to preteens. They offer a wide array of stylish shoes for boys and girls that doesn’t scrimp on comfort and quality. It is also “the only shoe store for kids that integrates interactive fun and treats as part of the store experience”.

Almost 3 weeks ago, Meet My Feet invited us to visit one of their stores so that our kids could try their shoes. We decided to go to their branch in Glorietta 2 and saw that Meet My Feet, aside from offering shoes, also sells accessories as well.

Here are the shoe styles available for boys.

I like that there are a variety of styles for boys because sometimes boys shoes tend to all look the same, don’t you think? They offer  topsiders, boots, casual shoes, sandals, and sneakers. I also like that they offer shoes in both neutral and colorful shades. Yes, I love options!

Ziggy’s feet are actually big for his age and at that time we really needed to buy him a new pair of everyday shoes. I initially wanted a pair of boots or sandals. I love the boots because they’re not hard and bulky like some of the children’s boots you see in the market these days. They look really comfortable and stylish at the same time. I also wanted the sandals because they’re more stylish that the usual cartoon character sandals in the department stores.  However, the hubby wanted to get Ziggy loafers instead.

Ziggy tried on a couple of loafer styles and in the end we let him choose which one he liked the best. He chose this pair, which my sister thinks looks a lot like driving shoes. Haha! I think this model is called the Pax.

This pair is so comfortable that Ziggy didn’t want to take them off anymore after trying them. To this day, it’s the only pair of shoes he wants to wear whenever we go out, with the exception of his rubber shoes, which he has to wear for his sports classes. That’s how I know he LOVES this pair a lot.

The opposite side of the store is where the girls’ shoes are displayed. Here are the styles they are currently offering.

There are a more styles compared to the boys collection. Meet My Feet’s inventory mix actually comprise of 50% of girls shoes, 45% of boys shoes and 5% for accessories.

I love that they offer both casual and formal styles for girls.  They have flats, loafers, wedges, sandals, mary janes and even sneakers. We decided to get a pair for Ziya, who needed sandals that can go with both casual and semi-formal outfits. She decided on this Senna pair in green.

Doesn’t it look really nice? I love it so much that I want one for myself. Haha!

Anyway, I wanted to show you the accessories as well. Here they are. They’re really nice, cute stuff for girls.

To you moms out there, you’d be happy to know that Meet My Feet shoes are of great quality but at the same time, reasonably priced. Their shoes are priced within the Php 500 – 1,200 range only. When we got to the store, there was actually a sale going on so there were pairs that were selling for only Php 399.

I’m pretty sure we’ll be coming back to Meet My Feet soon because I really want those boots for Ziggy. Overall, we’re very happy with the shoes. The store looks really fun too. Plus, the nice saleslady gave Ziggy some lollipops to take home. Nice touch!
