Our kids, especially four-year-old Ziggy, loves candy. But because most candies aren’t healthy at all, we try to limit their intake. In fact, we don’t make it a habit to regularly buy them. So, I was really pleased to learn about a healthier candy known as Vita Cubes, which are cube-shaped jelly candies that are yummy and healthy too.

Last August 2, Ziggy and I got invited to attend a mommy bloggers get together at Fun Runch Pasig organized by Vita Cubes and I got to know more about the brand.

It was a really fun event for both the moms and kids. There were a lot of games and prizes given away.

There was even a magic show.

Ziggy didn’t join the games but he really enjoyed playing at the designated play area.

Ziggy and I also got a chance to have our photo taken at the photo booth.

During the event, we got to try some Vita Cubes samples for the first time. Ziggy loved them immediately and so did I. We have them at home now and I’m pretty sure Vita Cubes will be on our grocery list regularly after this.

Here are the four (4) reasons why we love Vita Cubes.

1. Vita Cubes are yummy.

These jelly candies come in five (5) different fruit flavors – strawberry, apple, grape, orange and mango. I like them all but I have to admit that Ziggy and I have a favorite, which is grape. Hahaha! Aside from the fact that it’s purple (my favorite color!), it just tastes really good and satisfies my cravings for sweets.

2. Vita Cubes are healthy.

They are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals that are important for growing kids. Below are the vitamins that your kids can get from Vita Cubes.

Lysine

  • contains 70% of the child’s Recommended Energy and Nutritional Intake (RENI). Aids the body in proper growth and energy production. Also helps in calcium absorption.

Zinc

  • contains 70% of the child’s RENI. Known to help in proper functioning of the immune and digestive systems, energy metabolism, and in increasing the rate for healing for wounds.

Vitamin A

  • contains 40% of the child’s RENI. Helps in increasing the body’s immunity to fight infections. Also plays an important role in ensuring healthy eyes and bone development.

Vitamin B

  • supplies 30 – 70 % of the child’s RENI. Promotes growth and strength and stimulate memory in kids during their formative years. Helps boost the oxygen circulation in the body, especially the brain, which in turn improves circulation. Helps convert carbohydrates and fats into energy.

Vitamin C

  • supplies 30% of the child’s RENI. Helps form and repair red blood cells, bones, and tissues. Helps your child’s gums stay healthy. Strengthens your child’s blood vessels, minimizing bruising from falls and scrapes. Helps cuts and wounds heal, boosts the immune system, and keeps infections at bay. Helps the body absorb iron from food sources.

Vitamin E

  • supplies 45% of the child’s RENI. Boosts the immune system and helps the body fight germs. Keeps blood vessels open wide enough for blood to flow freely. Helps the cells of the body work together to perform many important functions.

3. Vita Cubes are handy and easily accessible.

You can find Vita Cubes at all Mercury Drug outlets, SM Supermarkets, Robinson’s Supermarkets, Waltermart, Landmark, Puregold, Mini Stop and other local grocery stores.

They are available per box (containing 10 pcs. of 50g packs similar to the photo above), per individual 50g packs or even in Singles.

4. Vita Cubes are affordable.

The suggested retail price (SRP) for a 50g pack is only Php 12.00. Singles can be purchased for only Php 1.00 each.

So you see, yummy has never been this healthy and healthy has never been this yummy! Just take note though that Vita Cubes is not meant to be a supplement. You still have to make sure your kids have a healthy diet and gets to exercise regularly.

Try Vita Cubes and you’ll find out why we love it!

  1. Hi! First-timer here! I like your blog! 🙂

That actually looks pretty yummy, plus the price isn’t bad at all! My little boy is still a bit too young for that, but I have a feeling my husband and I would have no problem taking a daily dose of vitamins if it were in candy form! 😛
