It’s Getting Hot in Here! – Remembering Our Boracay Trip

I don’t know about you but it’s getting HOT, HOT, HOT in this part of the world. Maybe it’s just my pregnancy or maybe it’s the fact that summer is just about a month away, but it’s making me think of one of my best summers ever. It happened the summer of 2008 when I was newly single again and was having fun with my group of friends called the “Single and Happy” group. Anyway, back then it has been a while since I had an out-of-town trip with friends and so I grabbed the chance to go to Boracay with them. For those of you who don’t know, Boracay is considered as one of the best beaches in the Philippines, where a LOT of people go in the summer.

My friends and I went there in April, at the height of summer and stayed at one of the priciest and most luxurious resorts. It wasn’t my first time there but it had been a while since my last visit so I was really excited to go. We had so much fun in the beach, swimming and island hopping, eating and partying. But I have to say the most fun was going jet-skiing!!! It wasn’t my first time to do it but it’s my most favorite thing to do at the beach. Ahhhh….. thinking about Boracay makes me miss it more….. I am such a beach-lover. I would love to just live near one. Wish I can go back soon, but the fact that I’m giving birth soon makes going to the beach this summer impossible. Still, I’m going back there as soon as I can.
