Welcome to Mommy Plannerista (formerly Roller Coaster Ride)!

I am Janice and this is my online home.

I started this blog in 2011, initially as Roller Coaster Ride, to blog about my third pregnancy and our then newly-formed blended family. A lot has happened since then. This blog grew and before I knew it, it was seven years later.

While I still loved sharing our family stories, I felt the need to transform this blog into something that has more of a niche because I didn’t want my online home to be just like any other mom blog (not that there’s anything wrong with that!). I just wanted this blog to be more unique.

I figured, why not write about my passion for planning and all things planners? After all, I’m a #PlannerAddict. I can’t live without a planner and as a mom, I use it a lot to organize my super hectic life. Planning makes me more organized. Honestly, it keeps me sane! It helps me be a better wife and mom. And at to that the creative aspect that I inject into my planning that makes it more fun.

So in 2018, Roller Coaster Ride became Mommy Plannerista!

I guess, you can say I’m a born planner. Aside from planning family events and activities since I was still young, I’ve also worked as an Events Planner, Project Planner and Party Planner. So, it’s but natural that as a mom and had my own family, I became the official planner as well.

I plan everything – from our family meals, daily routines, and homeschooling lessons to our family events, travels, parties, work tasks and more! I’ve been sharing a lot of those things on Instagram at @MommyPlannerista. But I could only share so much on IG so I decided to do so here on my blog as well.

You can still expect me to blog a lot about family lifestyle topics though, it’s more or less still the same old stuff you’ve seen here before – only BETTER!

Do join me on my journey as I plan a more organized and intentional mom life.

I’d love to hear from you! Shoot me an email at [email protected].
