What happened earlier here at our house was like a scene from Jon and Kate Plus 8. Don’t get me wrong. I love watching the reruns on TV and I have nothing against the former couple and their family. I just remember how famous Kate’s meltdowns are. I am not proud to admit that I had one earlier today.
It was inevitable, really. I’ve been feeling so exhausted lately with all the chores and the baby duties. I’m super sleep deprived and add the fact that it’s just so freaking hot here. Seriously, I wish summer is over. You can not walk from one room to another without sweating. I take a shower at least twice a day, sometimes even thrice. That’s how hot it is. Also, I’ve been having this eye irritation since Monday. My eyes have been red and itchy. At first I thought it could be sore eyes but now I doubt it. It’s probably an allergy to something because I’ve also been sneezing a lot more and have a runny nose. Anyway, I’m having it checked tomorrow to finally get to the cause and hopefully be relieved of the irritation.
I’m not trying to blame my meltdown to all those things but those are what contributed to what happened. For weeks now I knew I was going to breakdown any day now and I was right. I’ll spare you the details and just say that it wasn’t pretty. Of course, it was the poor hubby who was the easiest target. We eventually made up after the whole meltdown and I apologized but I still feel bad about it, especially since he’s been so great lately. Note to self, I have to make it up to him somehow.
What happened was definitely not my proudest moment. I just hope that it doesn’t happen again (or at least, not too often, hehehe.)
Aww, don’t worri, it happens to us all, you’re going thru a rough time! that’s what hubbi’s are for haha
hope you feel better soon!
Oh no! I hope it gets better!! The poor men in our lives! I always lash out on him, because he is always so nice and helpful and well perfect.
Oh no 🙁 However, you are only human. I’m sure your hubby loves you to bits even with a melt down. I loved that you brought up Kate! I totally forgot about her melt downs. They were classic! I am sure I have had my fair share as well. I hope things are better now.
