It’s Ziggy’s week 18 and this is the week he turned 4 months old! Yipee! Earlier today we actually went to Ziggy’s pedia for his 4th month visit. Everything is going well with his development. Just as I had expected, Ziggy has gained a lot since his last visit. From only 6.9 kilos in mid-May, Ziggy now weighs a whopping 8.5 kilos! He’s also grown longer, from only 59 cms to 64 cms. I am going to have one tall kid one day. He grows heavier each passing day but I really don’t mind because although everybody keeps saying that he’s big, his pedia is not yet concerned. I have also checked the growth charts and his weight still falls within the normal range, although high above there. There was even a mom at the doctor’s office today who made comments about how Ziggy’s too heavy and that we shouldn’t be allowing that. She even went on to say “poor baby”. I mean, hello! I didn’t even know her and wasn’t even talking to her. I surely did not ask for unsolicited advice. I can’t believe how some people think they know everything. Ziggy’s my 3rd child, thank you very much. I think I would know if my baby is overweight.
Anyway, one of the things I’m excited about is that Ziggy will start solid foods already! His pedia said to start with one kind of food per week, just to check for allergies. We plan to start with Cerelac first, the brown rice version. Then gradually add different kinds of fruits and vegetables. I plan on making Ziggy’s food by myself and not rely on the boxed varieties. That will certainly add to my chore list but I really don’t mind. I am so excited to see Ziggy eat for the first time.Β
Aside from that, I’m expecting that Ziggy will be teething soon. He has been drooling so much since late May and so I think his teeth will show up early. The pedia already recommended a sort of cream to be massaged to his gums once the teeth start showing up. She said it will help with the pain. Oh, I also can’t wait to see his baby teeth!
Here are Ziggy’s week 18 photos.
I love this Day 120 photo. I took photo after photo of Ziggy laughing. This is just one of them.

Day 121 is actually Ziggy’s 4th month birthday. This time around, instead of using cupcakes, we bought a cake roll instead and placed four candles on top. Happy Birthday Ziggy!

Every week I try to take photos of me and Ziggy such as this one taken on Day 122.

I also like photos of Ziggy where he looks surprised such as this one taken on Day 123. The way his hair is standing up is also funny!

On Day 124, I took this photo of Ziggy sleeping. This is still his favorite sleeping position. Sometimes he puts both arms up.

Oooh, I love this Day 125 photo of Ziggy with his big sister, Ziya. So sweet! Ziya’s just so in love with her baby brother and loves every chance he can hold and carry him like this.

Now here on Day 126 is a photo of Ziggy with both of his big sisters. Still can’t believe these kiddos are all mine!
