Teenpreneur Workshop

In college, one of my majors was Business Management. As if that weren’t enough, I also took my MBA several years after that. I guess, you can say that I want to be in business. I grew up in a family of business people and so it has been ingrained in my mind that one of the best ways to earn a living is to be in business. That’s one of the things I try to teach my kids. Not that I have anything against being an employee. It’s just that going into business gives one more freedom not only to his or her own boss but to create as well.

In relation to that, I found this ad for an entrepreneurship workshop for kids called Teenpreneur, which will be held in Makati City. It is a series of workshops that will teach kids how to have fun doing business. What’s great about it is that the lecturers will be actual entrepreneurs themselves. The kids will really form a business and take home the profit. What a great way to learn right? I really wanted my kids to take this course but unfortunately they’re too young. The course is only open to teens ages 13 to 17. I guess, for now I’ll just teach them myself.
