Hello, Semestral Break!

Hello, Semestral Break!!!! You have finally arrived. What took you so long? I’ve been waiting for you for months! Haha!

Seriously, since school started for my girls back in June, I have been waiting for this vacation. Things have just been hectic around here lately and a lot of that can be attributed to the never-ending school work and projects that my girls have to do. Even if Ziya is now being homeschooled, she still does the same amount of work because we still follow the school’s curriculum. It has been very exhausting to say the least so I am super happy that we will have two full weeks off from school. Yahoo!!!!

The girls just had their Halloween Party in school today and it just marks the start of the Halloween craze in this family. I am so excited because it will be Ziggy’s first Halloween. He already has a costume and I tell you, he looks adorable in it. Will post photos of our Halloween adventures soon! 

Also, during the semestral break one of my friends will be having a baby shower and I’m organizing it. Although it will be a really intimate event with just a few of our closest friends I am still really going crazy planning it. However, I am super excited about it because it’s going to be my friend’s first baby!

Of course, here in our country, November 1 and November 2 are All Saints’ Day and All Soul’s Day, respectively. This means we all have to troop to the cemeteries to visit our dearly departed loved ones. Thinking about it makes me think of all the traffic that will surely come with it. It’s enough to already make me feel exhausted.

Wait. Come to think of it, I’m not really going to have much of a break at all, right? Oh well! It’s a crazy life, but it’s my life!
