Last Saturday morning, Kai fetched Ziggy and I at home after work with plans of heading straight to his team’s teambuilding activity in one of the restos in Ayala Triangle. However, since it would take long before his other teammates arrive, he decided to not go anymore. Instead, he took us to SM North Edsa. I was kind of surprised because that mall is all the way up north (we live in the south). But I was up for anything new to do and it has been a while since I was last there anyway.
It was lunch time by the time we got there and so we explored the mall looking for a new resto to try. Luckily, I have a friend who recommended this resto called Peri-Peri where they serve unlimited soup and drinks for every order of a chicken meal. So, we decided to give it a try. We actually got our money’s worth and the food wasn’t bad at all. Definitely glad we got to try it out since I don’t think they have a branch yet here at the south. Since Ziggy still can’t eat chicken, we ended up feeding him mushroom soup and fries.
After lunch, we walked around the mall and was able to pass by Jollibee. Of course, they had that big Jollibee statue out front by the entrance. Ziggy loves Jollibee and is always excited to see the mascot. So, of course we  had to stop and let him enjoy marveling at the statue. He couldn’t get enough of it so much so that we had to go back a second time because even after we left he continued to point to it. It made me think that we probably should have booked his upcoming birthday party in Jollibee. However, we chose another place, but more on that on a later post.
We were also able to finally buy a new baby bag for Ziggy. Technically, it’s a ladies’ bag and not a baby bag. However, it has front, side and back pockets that will fit all of Ziggy’s stuff. I just LOVE pockets. It’s roomy enough and actually more comfortable to carry compared to our other baby bag so I’m pretty thrilled with it.
Anyway, we were hoping to go to this modelling agency that we found in the mall the last time we were there. However, they were no longer there last Saturday and probably changed locations. I was really disappointed because we really wanted to have Ziggy come in and get a screen shot or something. I’m telling you that baby totally has star potential. He definitely KNOWS he’s cute. A lot of people we don’t know actually come up to us to play with him and tell him how adorable they think he is. Some even asked permission if they can take his picture. So, why not have him model, right? Let’s hope we get to find a good modelling agency soon.
We only spent a few hours in the mall but it was a good bonding experience with my boys. Before we left, Ziggy and I had our picture taken by this huge dragon display. I think the mall put it up because of the Chinese New Year celebration earlier in the month. Ziggy was amazed at how big it was!
All in all, it was a really nice afternoon!
