I started this blog back in November 2010 and my inspiration for doing so was Ziggy. At that time, I was still 6 months pregnant with him. I wanted to record everything about my pregnancy as well as Ziggy’s first year of life, something I wasn’t able to do as much back when I was pregnant with Zoe and Ziya. I named the project, Ziggy’s Project Yearbook.
With Ziggy’s Project Yearbook, I attempted to record his weekly growth and development. I was successful in doing that up to around September 2011, I think. After that, things became too hectic that I had to give up on the weekly updates and instead posted only when there are major milestones. Well, Ziggy just celebrated his 1st birthday yesterday!!! I can’t believe it has been a year since I first laid my eyes on him. I am so happy that I was able to capture his first 365 days thru pictures as well as blog entries. This enabled me to make 42 scrapbook pages of Ziggy’s most adorable photos using a digital scrapbooking software called My Memories (I’m actually giving away a free download. Click here to enter!).
Anyway, as much as I would like to share all 42 pages, I think you’d be to tired to view all of them. So, I just decided to choose a few with you.
Don’t you just love them? I know I do! It has been one amazing year and I know that Ziggy’s journey has just begun. I look forward to all the things that Ziggy has yet to experience. I’ll surely be around to capture those wonderful moments. One of those will be coming up this weekend – Ziggy’s 1st birthday party!!!!!! I am so excited! I can hardly wait!
To all those who have read and supported my Project Yearbook posts, thank you so much for going through the journey with me. It has certainly been fun and fulfilling. Even if Project Yearbook – The First 365 Days is over and done with, I’ll surely keep on writing about Ziggy’s adventures.
