The past week has been super hectic, to say the least. Yes, I’ve been busy with household chores, and of course, with hubby and the kids. However, I’ve also been busy thinking of stuff to do next on this blog. Well, I’m so excited to tell you that I’m cooking up a lot of things. Some of them are already definite while others are still mainly ideas in my head, but I’m optimistic that my vision will come to reality.
First of all, I’m going to be doing a book review of this really nice book for tweeners! Perfect for kids the same age as my Zoe and Ziya. Not only that, it comes with a giveaway too! It’s going to be my first time to giveaway a book on this blog (thanks to my lovely sponsor but more on that next time. As a bookworm, I am really happy to be giving away this book because I encourage reading a lot, especially to my own kids. It’s hard to find really good books these days. So, if you want to win a really good book for your child, watch out for this one.
Another thing I’m excited about is an upcoming guest post from this amazing person. I discovered this person because he commented on one of my former blog posts. One thing we have in common is that both of us have blended families. That is the only clue I’d like to share for now. I invited him to do a guest post because I just felt like Roller Coaster Ride needed to provide more information on blended families from other people’s perspectives and not just my own. Although on most occasions, blended families are just the same as other “regular” families, they do also have their own unique situations to deal with. It will be interesting to hear about these things from other people who go through blended family issues themselves. I, for sure, will learn a lot from this, and I hope, so will you, regardless of whether you have a blended family or not.
