It has been a while since I’ve done a solely Project Yearbook post. There have been so many developments on Ziggy sometimes it’s just hard to keep up writing about them. Ziggy will be turning 16 months old in a few days. Time is going way too fast if you ask me. My baby boy is not really a baby anymore. I’m already missing his baby days. Every single day he does something to exert his independence. He knows more words now. He can point to different parts of his body when you ask him where they are. He also communicates better and can tell (or show) you what he wants. Pretty soon, he’ll be a full blown toddler and I’ll only have this blog and my hundreds of photos to remind me of his precious baby moments.
I want to share now one of those really nice moments I was able to capture on camera. We took Ziggy for his second haircut yesterday. We were expecting it to be easy, just like the first time a few months ago. However, he was really cranky this time around and cried the whole time. He wouldn’t sit still and so the hubby had to carry him just so the barber can finish what he was doing. The hair cut made Ziggy less babyish, which made me cry a little inside.
Anyway, the sweet moment happened when we had lunch afterwards. Hubby also had his hair cut that day. So in this photo he and Ziggy are sporting their new hair cuts while sharing a drink during lunch.
This is such a priceless moment for me. I hope and pray that even when he grows up, Ziggy will still have this type of closeness with his dad.
