I got another opportunity to bond with my boys last Tuesday. It was the same day that we picked up the Lander loot that I won in a giveaway. Since I picked up my prizes at Bonifacio High Street, we took that as an opportunity to take Ziggy out for a short but sweet visit around the area, which is one of our favorite places to be.
It was still early in the morning when we got there and so there were very few people around. Most of the shops were actually still closed. The only open ones were the coffee shops as well as Krispy Kreme! Oh, how I missed Krispy Kreme. The last time we went there was last April or May with the girls. Zoe and Ziya love Krispy Kreme too and so I feel a bit guilty that they couldn’t join us this time around. Since it was a Tuesday, they were in school. Oh well!
Upon entering Krispy Kreme, we noticed that it looked a lot nicer because they got rid of the uncomfortable booths that people used to sit on. Instead, they have round tables and large, comfy chairs now. It now has a more coffee shop kind of vibe, which I love!
Anyway, it was a no brainer what to order for Ziggy. We got him the Original Glazed Donut. We actually got two because the hubby just had to have one too. Aside from those, I got a Mango Kruffin and coffee for myself and hubby got the special Kitkat Donut (I actually forgot what they call it).
Oh, how I loved my Mango Kruffin. This is only the second time I’ve tasted one. The dough is soft and the inside is creamy. Yummy!
It was such a great, yummy brunch spent with my boys! Ziggy kept running around, though. He was so excited that he got to wear a Krispy Kreme hat.
Ziggy also really loved looking at the all the donuts that were being cooked at the store. One of the things I love most about this branch of Krispy Kreme is that you really get to look at what happens in their kitchen. So cool!
It was a rainy but very nice morning spent with my boys. I love it! Krispy Kreme, we’ll be back soon!
