Just a week ago, I blogged about how excited I was about signing up as a new Human Heart Nature dealer. I was excited because it was an income-generating opportunity, something that will definitely help a WAHM like me. I was also excited because I will be selling products that I actually use and love. For those of you who are curious about applying for a Human Nature dealership as well let me tell you about my experience so far.
I immediately started marketing as soon as I got home from applying as a dealer that day. Our helper at home was very curious about the products and so I took that opportunity to try and market them to her. What do you know? I ended up selling the Sunflower Oil that was included in the dealership package I got. Woohoo! I had my first sale on my first day as a dealer.
After that sale, I sent text messages to friends and family informing them that I had become a dealer and that they could order from me. I also sent some of them messages thru Facebook, wherein which I made sure to include a link to Human Nature’s Fan Page so that they can view the different products. I even included a dealer badge on my FB profile photo as well as here on the sidebar of my blog. From my posting on FB, I got my second order from my hubby’s friend, who also happens to be Ziggy’s godmother. Another sale!
During the next few days, I sent some of the magalogues (also included in the dealership package I got) to my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and cousin-in-law. I also gave one to my hubby so that he can show them to his colleagues at work. In the end, I got four people to order out of showing off the magalogues.
So today was my scheduled day to pick up all those orders from the Human Nature store. Here’s what my first few customers ordered from me. Not bad for the first batch, right?
My strategy is to collect as many orders as I can during the week then place those orders at the same time so that I will only have to go to the store once a week. I also plan to schedule doing the groceries during the same day because as luck would have it, the supermarket we frequent is located right across the Human Nature store. Now that’s killing two birds with one stone! We get to save on gas too with just one trip.
Tomorrow, I start delivering the products to my new customers. I am already planning my next trip to the store since another customer has just placed order for Sunflower Oil. Woohoo! Now, let’s hope I get more orders next week too. Good luck to me!
