Do you want to know how Facebook page creation helped my businesses? Let me tell you how.
We all know how the Internet has changed the world. It has changed how we connect to people not only on a personal level but on a professional level as well. For businesses nowadays, the Internet is the new playground. Gone are days when your competitors were limited to those who were located in the same area or city. The competition has now gone global, which can make gaining market advantage more challenging and complicated.
Having this blog as well as my newly-opened online store as my businesses, I am always on the lookout for ways to connect to my audience or target market. It used to be that we only resort to traditional media to promote our products and services. However, in recent years, social media has changed all that. Social media has provided us with so many fun ways to connect to so many people around the world in real time and at lesser cost. It’s no wonder then that a lot of businesses nowadays have realized the power of social media and have started using them in order to gain significant market presence. I am definitely one of those people.
I have to admit, I am a social media addict. I am on Facebook and Twitter everyday and I don’t just use them for my personal life. Back when I first started blogging, I realized that I needed to find a way to get my blog out there for more people to find. If I don’t do that, then finding more readers and sponsors would be more difficult. I finally realized that I can get more blog followers through the use of social media, specifically through Facebook page creation. Through my blog’s Facebook page, I update my readers by posting links to my latest blog posts, promoting my blog giveaways as well as posting links on articles I’ve written for other sites. I can say that this strategy has been very effective. My readership continues to go up and I’ve also been receiving more attention from brands and companies wanting to partner with my blog.
Recently, I also started a business selling products for moms and kids. I initially started selling them to friends and relatives only but decided to go online as well so that I can get more customers. So, I set up a Facebook page for this new business too. In the few weeks since I created it, the page has already gained more than 100 likes and more and more people have found out about my products. I am hoping that pretty soon, it will bring in more customers and of course, sales as well.
So, have you thought about setting up a Facebook page for your business too?
