Previously, I have blogged about my experiences in attending several workshops for WAHMs. These were workshops organized by Ginger Arboleda of Manila Workshops and Martine de Luna of WAHMderfullife.com. I keep attending the WAHM workshops because they have truly helped me launch my WAHM career. I owe a lot to what I’ve learned from them.
This time around, Ginger and Martine have come up with a new series of workshops geared towards moms who want to create and launch a successful online business. The first of the series is called The WAHMeo Series: Brand and Build Your Online Biz. It will be held on July 27, 2013, from 10 am – 5 pm at Studio SnR, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Existing WAHMpreneurs can also benefit from attending this workshop because it will teach them how to strengthen and elevate their business’ brand and online positioning.
Topics to be discussed will be as follows:
- Why WAHMs are built to succeed online : The truths (and research) behind why moms are wired to create businesses for themselves online
- Business planning for WAHMeo’s : Business planning that marries your lifestyle to your business
- Tools of the trade : Taxes, Business registration, and the other “nitty gritties” of running an online business
- Branding and your business : Finding the sweet spot between what you’re great at and what will make people buy from you!
- How to setup your own WordPress ecommerce store : WordPress is the king of all platforms
The rates are as follows:
- Regular Rate: Php 2,500 per participant
- Early Bird Rate (Register and Pay before July 15, 2013): Php 2,200 per participant
- Group Rate: Php 2,200 per participant (must be in a group of three people)
