I love being a WAHM and I love being part of our wonderful WAHM community. So, I’m really excited for the upcoming big event that has been planned to gather WAHMs and wannabe WAHMs (as well as work-at-home dads, singles and others who want to explore the work-at-home lifestyle) called WAHMderful Weekend: The Heart and Hands of the Work-at-Home Mom. It will take place on October 27, 2013, from 9 am to 5 pm at the SMX Convention Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
This event promises to be a fun learning experience. Those who will attend will be able to listen to talks about the following topics:
- Knowing your vision for LIFE
- Loving your WORK
- Freelancing HACKS
- Entrepreneurship for WAHMS
- Work & WEALTH
- Wellness for WAHMs
Personally though, I think one of the best things about this event is the learning and support you will get from other WAHMs. The speakers and panelists during the event will be people from our WAHM community. Actually, I’m so thrilled to let you all know that I was invited to be one of the panelists! Yup, I’m going to be there not just to attend the event but to share with you my personal experiences on being a WAHM.
To be a honest, I’m a little nervous about being part of the panel but only because I don’t really feel comfortable having all eyes on me. Haha! But I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and decided to accept the invitation because the WAHM community (and the WAHM workshops) have played a huge role in my WAHM story. I feel compelled to share whatever I know to those who will attend as a way of giving back to those who have helped me in my WAHM journey.
So, I hope to see you guys there! Registration fee is P 2,500 only but you’re in luck because you can actually avail of the special rate of only P 2,000 if you register and pay between October 1 – 10. So click here to register now! You’re not going to regret it.
sounds really really exciting! wish i could join something like this one of these days..

Kimmy, it is exciting! 🙂 I hope too that you’d be able to join one of the WAHM workshops, if not this upcoming one. They’ve been really helpful to me. 🙂
