Every year, I try to come up with my own Christmas wish list. Of course, I always wish for good health and long life for my family and friends. I wish for world peace, for everybody to have a home and good food to eat. But indulge me for a while here and allow me to wish for something tangible for myself. Haha! It doesn’t happen that often anyway.
I usually say I write a list only because I want to list down the stuff that I’d like to buy for myself. But honestly, it’s mostly for my hubby and kids’ sake, so that they will have an idea on what to get me for Christmas. Hahaha! Ask and you shall receive, right? It’s fun to wait and see what they will end up giving me.
So, this year is no exception. Here’s my grown-up Christmas list for 2013.
Samsung Smart Camera WB30F
This camera is at the top of my wish list this year because we badly need one. Our digicam’s zoom function is no longer working and I really wanted one that has better features. This one’s great because it has 10x optical zoom plus it has one-touch WiFi capability. It’s compact too and I love that because I’m the type who brings a camera everywhere. Plus, it comes in purple! I LOVE it!
Okay, I don’t really expect hubby or the kids to get this for me. I was really hoping I could buy this for myself out of my recent blog earnings. But we’ll see!
Uniqlo Leggings Pants
I read from someone else’s blog that this is a great pair to have especially for moms like me who are always running around. I was finally able to see it for myself last Friday when I went to the mall and they look really comfortable. They look like jeans but are really leggings. They’re available in several colors and I really want them all but I’d settle for this navy one because it will go with all sorts of colored tops. I badly need a new pair of pants!

I haven’t had a leather watch for a long time now and I also need one so that I can have something to use for dressier occasions. I fell in love with this when I first saw it. The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks
No Christmas wish list of mine will ever be complete without a book. And no bookshelf of mine will be complete without the latest Nicholas Sparks novel. I just love reading his books! They feed my hopeless romantic soul and never fail to make me cry, in a good way!
The First Phone Call From Heaven by Mitch Albom
Of course, I just have to wish for yet another book. I haven’t read a Mitch Albom novel for a long time now and I really miss his writing. This looks like another tearjerker that would make me think. I already know I’m going to love it. Hope to have it on my bookshelf soon!

I once said that I will never, ever wear jeggings. BUT after having experienced going through a hectic day in a pair of jean-leggings (which my in-laws sent me from the states), I can’t imagine life without them! You are so right, they are perfect for us mommies who are always running around. 🙂
