Growing up, Chinese New Year has always been a special occasion to us because we have Chinese blood (my dad’s side). I’ve lots of fond memories of tikoy, dragon dances and such. However, because we don’t get to spend that much time with that side of our family anymore, we haven’t been able to really celebrate Chinese New Year much in recent years. I hope that changes though, starting this year.

I’ve been looking for places where I can take my family this Chinese New Year and was lucky enough to find out that there’s going to be one happening at the Chinatown Lai Lai Hotel.

  1. Uuuuy, mura ang room rates ah! For family na ba yun? This is a great experience sana for our kids. Maybe next year pwede na. It’s a great way to expose them to Chinese culture. The most I’ve been able to expose them to is yung Oct 31 sa cemetery.

Ano yung singing idol? Chinese songs din?
