I’ve been trying my luck in joining online giveaways lately. Actually I started joining some last year and have been fortunate to have won a few. However, my winning streak really started this May only. Not to jinx myself but since May I have won at least one online giveaway per month. Lucky, lucky me! Maybe it’s God’s way of showing me that despite some difficulties in our life right now, He is still there blessing me with other things instead.
So, anyway, I won another giveaway last week. I chanced upon a giveaway sponsored by Richard of the blog, Tales From The Tummy. It’s a really nice blog on Food, Travel and Lifestyle. You should check it out. In the giveaway I joined, the prizes were gift certificates worth Php500 each for Krave Restobar and Silk Thai Cuisine. I immediately joined because 1) I love food, 2) I’ve never won a GC for a restaurant before, 3) I’ve never tried Krave Restobar and 4) I would like to go back to Silk again since it has been a long time since my first visit there. As luck would have it, I won the GC for Silk. Hooray!!!
I already have plans for when to use this GC. My hubby will be celebrating his birthday early next month and I really want to treat him with a nice meal because he really deserves it. One of our favorite bonding activities is eating out. We love trying different restaurants. However, we haven’t really done that lately because of the baby and of budget constraints. We definitely could use a date night. So, this GC will definitely be a big help with my birthday treat. I will definitely blog about that soon.
