Lovin’ My New Blog Design!

For the past several days I’ve been feeling the urge to change the design of my blog again. I can no longer count how many times I’ve done so in the past. I guess, it’s easy for me to get tired of it knowing that I’ve been using free templates anyway. Actually, I’ve been wanting to invest in a blog makeover because I want a unique design just made especially for this blog. However, I can’t afford it yet and so I have to make do with whatever is free.

This time around I decided not to download any premade templates. I just chose the Travel theme from Blogger and just customized it according to my preferences. Of course, that meant shades of PURPLE. I chose the theme because it’s simple and clean and it allowed tabs. I also changed the fonts and chose Dancing Script for the blog title, post titles and sidebar labels. I love it because it’s so pretty and dainty. However, what I am most excited about are the social media icons because they are just SO CUTE and PURPLE! It took some time for me to put it there though because aside from downloading the files, I also had to upload it on a photo-sharing site, resize it and place the codes. Oh, I don’t know how long it took me to finish everything I did on this design but I must say that I am totally lovin’ it. It just screams ME and isn’t that the point, really?

Someday I will have my blog makeover professionally done. But until then, I think I’ll just keep this design for now. Don’t you find it pretty? 🙂
