Last November 10, I officially became a mom for 10 years already. Yup, my baby girl, Zoe, has turned 10 years old. Okay, so she’s now a tween and not a baby anymore. Time flies by really fast. I can hardly believe that it has actually been that long already. Now, I’m starting to get nervous about her entering her teenage years. I have seen the changes in her this past few years and I can tell you that she’s turning out to be a lot like me, not just physically but emotionally as well. Haha!

Anyway, to celebrate Zoe’s birthday we had to wait until the weekend so that we can all be together. On Saturday, we initially wanted to go swimming at the Manila Ocean Park but that didn’t work out. We ended up going to the Mall of Asia instead, which was actually a good thing. When we got there we found out that the mall already put up a small Santa Village set up where you can take photos. The photos were Ziggy’s first “Christmas set up” photos.

After going around the mall, we had early dinner at Pizza Hut Bistro.
The next day, Sunday, was the more exciting one though. We woke up really early so that we can get to the Manila Ocean Park right when they open. We were the first guests there at the Swimming and Fun area. Oh, we had a really fun time. It was our first swimming trip with baby Ziggy so that made the special occasion extra special.

Ziggy was scared at first but he eventually got over his fears and enjoyed playing in the water. He would actually kick his feet on his own while we held his hands. Oh, he’s just so cute! In this photo, he was really laughing a lot that you can already see his tooth. Yup, yup, that’s another first for Ziggy! His tooth first came out a few days ago. So exciting!
Zoe and Ziya had a blast. Kai and I played games with them in the pool. It has been a while since we all had fun this way so it was really nice.

Another great thing was that we were able to watch the water fountain show. Normally, you’d be required to purchase another ticket for that. However, since the water fountains were located in the pool area, we were able to see it for free!

As if that wasn’t enough, we were also able to see the sea lions perform for free as well!

Oh, it was a really great weekend spent with the family and the most important thing is that Zoe enjoyed how we celebrated her birthday. Happy 10th birthday, Zoe!!!! We love you!!!!!!
