I’m joining Mommy Vix’s Nice To Know You Wednesday Meme for the second time today. Below are my answers to this week’s questions.
1. What are your top 5 pet peeves?
I have a lot of pet peeves but the top five would be as follows: 1) people who give empty promises, 2) noisy people, 3) nosy people (mind your own business, will you?), 4) know-it-alls and 5) parasites (of the human kind).
2. What is your zodiac sign + does it fit your personality?
I’m a true blue Pisces. Pisces is a water sign and I so LOVE the water. In fact, I love going to the beach and my favorite animals are dolphins. Pisceans are said to be intuitive, sensitive, caring and loving and I would say that sounds exactly like me. Hehehe!
3. What is your all-time favorite TV show?
This is such a hard question because I can’t possibly live without a TV. I have SO MANY favorite TV shows but if I really had to choose one I’d choose FRIENDS. I never get tired of watching it. It’s just so funny and I can really relate to the characters. I’d love a complete DVD set of all seasons of Friends if only they weren’t so expensive.
4. What is your goal for the next 30 days?
A busy mom like me can’t have just one goal. I have TONS. But I would say the most important one to be achieved within the next 30 days is to help my kids review for their second quarter exams as well as assist them in finishing all their projects. Hectic, hectic, hectic!
For myself, though, I hope to finally be able to launch my second blog so that I can earn more doing what I love and be able to keep staying home with the kids.
5. What is your favorite movie + what is it about?
Oh, another hard one! I LOVE movies. In fact, before Ziggy was born, Hubby and I used to watch a new movie every week, and in the theater and not on DVD. I miss those movie dates! Anyway, if there’s one movie I don’t get tired of watching over and over again I’d say it’s Notting Hill starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. I love it because I’m such a sucker for romantic comedies and I just love both Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant so the combination is just awesome. Although the plot is a bit unrealistic (small town boy in England falling in love with a huge Hollywood star and vice versa and they live happily ever after), it is still nice to watch because it is funny and heartwarming at the same time. It really makes one feel that with love anything is possible. And really, who can forget that famous quote from the movie – “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.”? Cheesy!

I also love Friends and I make sure that I never miss an episode of that before.
Good luck on your plans to put up another blog, sis. I guess, we cannot really have that many 🙂
So sorry for the very late visit + an absent post last week, things are also kind of hectic on my end…
