The best birthday celebration I’ve ever had took place last year when I turned 31. It was very special because it was the first birthday I celebrated with Kai and the girls together. We official became a family about a year before my birthday and that’s why it was the first time I celebrated with all of them there. Also, my birthday celebrations usually just involves eating out or at home with my family and/or friends, but last year, Kai planned something more.
On the day of my birthday, Kai took me and the girls to watch a movie at the SM Mall of Asia. I remember we watched a movie on 3D then went to Timezone to play some games with the kids and to kill time as we waited for the main event.
Kai made dinner reservations at Cafe Breton that night.
He chose Cafe Breton because 1) the girls and I love crepes and 2) because the location was perfect for the fireworks. Yup, there were fireworks but it wasn’t Kai who arranged that. Haha! It was actually one of those Saturdays that the 1st Philippine International Pyromusical Competition took place. Oh, how we all love fireworks! There were lots of oohhing and aahhing that night as we watched two countries compete with their best pyromusical display that night. That was really something I will always remember. Here are some of the photos.
Of course, what’s a birthday without a cake, right? Here’s my birthday cake, which was actually Cafe Breton’s Le Magnifique crepe, my ultimate favorite. Yummy! Best birthday ever!
