Project Yearbook: Week 16

Only 6 days to go and Ziggy will officially be 4 months old! Yippee! Oh, my growing boy! It’s really amazing how much has changed with Ziggy since he was born. It’s so great to be able to be with him 24 hours a day and see all these amazing developments, something I wasn’t able to do with Zoe and Ziya because I was working full-time when they were babies.

Anyway, Ziggy has developed new habits recently. One of these habits include sucking on his upper lip. He already developed the habit of sucking on his hands and fingers but sucking on his lip is something else. I don’t know why he does it. I never experienced that with the girls before but it’s really adorable to watch. Another habit is putting up his legs and feet up in the air. This is a joy to watch because he enjoys doing this so much! Later on down below, I’ll show you a photo of that. Lastly, he just recently developed the surprising habit of trying to get up, as in he tries to pull up his upper body. He’s barely four months old and doesn’t even know how to roll over! Maybe it’s because Kai and I sometimes try to “practice” Ziggy to sit down by pulling him up using his arms, gently of course. Well, he can’t do it on his own yet but he will pretty soon.

This Day 106 photo was taken while Daddy Kai was holding Ziggy on his lap. I like this photo because Ziggy looks mischievous here.

On Day 111, I decided I wanted a photo of me and Ziggy sitting on the rocking chair since we don’t have one yet. Kai bought this rocking chair for me in Tagaytay back in December when I was only 7months pregnant with Ziggy. We figured we’d be needing this a lot when Ziggy is born and we were right.
