Ziggy’s actually 2.5 months old already! He has grown so much since he was born. He likes it when people talk to him and he responds by making his cute noises. When he’s in a good mood, he also smiles a lot, especially in the morning when he wakes up. He’s growing bigger too! Everybody who sees him can’t believe he’s only 2 months old. I’ve already removed all his newborn clothes from his cabinet because he can’t fit into them anymore! We also think he’s going to be tall like his dad because of his length. His next immunization will be next week so we’ll have an update on his actual length and weight by then.
Healthwise Ziggy is doing good. He still drinks from 4 to 5 oz of milk per feeding. However, feedings can be as short as every hour. Yup, he’s really into milk! With regard to sleep, it really depends on his present mood. Sometimes he has trouble sleeping, probably because it was really hot the past couple of weeks. It only became cold last Mother’s Day weekend because of the typhoon. But on his good days, Ziggy can sleep for as long as four hours at night before waking up to feed. Then he usually goes back to sleep again. He’s awake more now during the day.
Ziggy also enjoys playing more now. He responds when his sisters play with him using his toys. He responds to the sounds of his toys and looks at them but he has yet to learn to grab or touch them on his own. We’re thinking he might learn to roll over on his tummy soon. We’ve been giving him a lot of tummy time lately and it’s paying off. His arms are stronger and he can actually pull up his upper body while on his tummy.
I really can’t believe that it’s been two and a half months. I treasure everyday I spend with Ziggy but sometimes I feel that time flies by TOO fast! Anyway, here are his Week 10 photos.
Day 64 photo was taken at home. I wanted to take a photo him wearing his Spongebob shirt.
Day 65 was also taken at home.
On Day 66, I decided to take a photo of Ziggy naked so that I can show his bellybutton. He has an outie or an umbilical hernia. It’s so weird that his Daddy just had an operation for umbilical hernia last January. I’m not worried yet because Ziggy’s pediatrician said it will go in eventually. I also read that it usually corrects itself by the time the baby turns 1. So, hopefully that will be the case.
Day 67 was again taken at home.
On Day 68, we all went to the mall and hung out at the Family Lounge. Here’s a photo of Ziggy with his bottle. Daddy was feeding him here.
On Day 69, we went to the Expo Mom bazaar in another mall and I realized that we didn’t have photos of Ziggy in his car seat yet. So, here’s his first car seat photo.
This Day 70 photo was taken early in the morning of Mother’s Day. The girls have just woken up and immediately went to find their baby brother. Awww, sibling bonding moment. I’m such a lucky, blessed mom.
