Zoe and Ziya’s school had its year-end Recognition Day earlier today. As expected, my kids got not one, not two, not three but SEVERAL awards this school year. That’s us above, posing after the event, with Kai and baby Ziggy at the background. Now, please let the proud mommy enumerate all the awards that each of my girls received.

Ziya, who finished second grade this year received the following awards (despite being sick during exam week):
- Best in Team Learning
- Best in Conduct
- Most Caring
- Achiever’s List Award
- 2 Golden Ring Awards (given to students for being able to do certain skills that are normally only achieved by students two levels higher)
- 3rd place Star Kid Award (Bronze Medal)

Zoe, who finished third grade this year received the following awards:

- Best Monitor
- Best Elocutionist
- Best in Conduct
- Most Prompt
- Most Diligent
- Principal’s List (Honors List)
- 2 Golden Ring Awards
- 1st place Star Kid Award (Gold Medal)
- 1st Honors (Gold Medal)
I am super proud of my girls. Especially since their final exams week was super hectic due to me giving birth to Ziggy. Read about it here. I wasn’t really 100% there for them studying all week and just merely supervised every now and then. But they pulled through! I am especially happy for Zoe for getting the 1st Honors for the first time. For the past four years, she has only received up to the 3rd Honors and so it has really been a dream for her to get to the 1st place. Now, her dream has come true! I’m just so happy. I must have done something great in this world to deserve such smart kids. They definitely deserve to celebrate and so we will this coming weekend. Yipee!
