Over the past week, I’ve had a couple of realizations about blogging. Last week, I launched my second blog, Chronicles of Ziggy and so far, I’ve only been able to write a few posts on it. I was busy the first few days tweaking its design and layout. Aside from that, I continued to manage and update this blog too. Needless to say, I spent hours and hours online to the point that I hardly did anything else.
I realized that instead of spending that much time on two blogs, I could just devote some of that time back to my kids instead or at least devote some of it to find other ways to earn online that will not be as time-consuming. Besides, I’m also about to give birth and plan on taking care of Ziggy without the help of a nanny. Breastfeeding him alone will already eat up a lot of my time. So, I will definitely not be able to keep up management of two blogs at the same time.
I finally decided to let go of Chronicles of Ziggy for the meantime and just continue with Roller Coaster Ride, which has been online longer and has more followers. This doesn’t mean I will give up on writing about my pregnancy, Ziggy’s birth and milestones. My plan is to actually merge that here on Roller Coaster Ride. At the top of my homepage, you will actually see two additional page tabs that originally came from Chronicles of Ziggy. The page called Our Non-traditional Family of Five, is an introduction to our family while Project Yearbook talks about my special project for Ziggy.
It’s really all about priorities and as a Mom, I choose to prioritize my family.
