The holidays are certainly upon us. Halloween is barely two weeks away and Christmas will come not long after that. We all know what the holidays entail – lots and lots of shopping.
Nowadays though, it can be impractical and tiresome to go from one mall to another to shop for the holidays. As much as possible, I try to get my shopping done early or just shop from the comfort of our home. There are so many trusted online shops nowadays and I’d like to share with you one of them that I got to explore recently, Lamido Philippines.
What is Lamido Philippines?
Here’s a little background about Lamido.
Lamido is Philippines #1 marketplace for everybody to sell their products on the Internet! When buying, bidding or selling at Lamido, you deal with people from your City and from all over Philippines.
You can buy or sell fantastic articles from hundreds of segments, as: Fashion, Electronics, Jewelry, Accessories, Books and millions more. For those who love unique pieces you can find unique collectibles or gifts as well.
You can become a Lamido seller very easily. Just register and join thousands of people who successfully sell items on Lamido. A seller lists an item on Lamido, almost anything from smart phones to laptop accessories, books to rare coins, which allows buyers to purchase the item right away at a fixed price.
What I like about this is that unlike other online stores, is the Lamido buy and sell angle. It’s not only for buyers. It’s for sellers too. So, if you have something to sell, Lamido makes it easy for you to do so.
I explored Lamido recently as a buyer though. So let me share with you the process you have to go through to make a purchase. The first thing you have to do is to register. Just click “Login” and it will give you the option to login to your account or to create one. It will then lead you to this page. Just fill in the necessary details to create your account.
Once you are logged in, you’ll see your dashboard, which looks like this.
As you can see, you have access here to all the information you need about your account. If you’re a seller, you can see your sales and your listings. As a buyer, you can see all your purchases. Ratings and feedback are also shown here.
Now, if you want to make a purchase, take note that you have a choice between two payment options: Cash on Delivery and Lamido Safe Pay.
Here are the steps for Lamido Safe Pay:
Below are the steps for Cash on Delivery:
The steps are all very easy to follow for both options. So, it really depends on the buyer which payment option to choose.
Browsing for products is also made easy by Lamido. You can browse by category. The available categories are: Deals, Fashion, Watches, Jewelry, Health & Beauty, Kids & Baby, Home & Living, Home Appliances, Electronics, Mobiles & Tablets, Computers, Cameras & Accessories. I think it’s great that they have something for every person in the family. It makes shopping a lot more convenient than going from one store to another.
What I also like is that you can further expand your search. For example, on the photo above, you can browse among different types of bags. Just click on the selections on your left.
On the photo above, you’ll see that it’s also possible to further narrow down your search depending on Brand, Price, Color, Condition, Country of Manufacture, as well as Material, Occasion, Rating and Gender.
Once you click on a product, you’ll see all the information about it such as the one on the photo below.
Just click on “Buy Now” to purchase and Lamido will send you a confirmation email about your purchase as soon as they have confirmed your order from the seller. Based on this first experience I had though, it can take a few days before you receive a confirmation. I tried ordering last Friday and I only received the confirmation three days after, on Monday. If you’re not in a hurry to receive your product, this should be okay.
For those of you who prefer shopping from your mobile phones or tablets, Lamido also has an app! The Lamido Android app can be downloaded for free from Google Play and has the following features.
- Buy and sell anywhere and anytime
- Discover and share the best deals on the go
- Get personalized notifications based on your needs
- Instant messaging to merchants
- Leave feedback and review products and sellers
I can say that shopping at Lamido is easy and convenient. I like that they have varied payment options and that they have considered the safety of their customers’ money. If there’s anything I would like to improve on, it would be on the processing time for order confirmation and delivery. I know some people would prefer these to have a shorter time frame.
Interested to party with Lamido?
On October24, Lamido will be hosting a Blackout Party, the proceeds of which will go to a selected charity by UP ACES called Good Food Community. UP ACES is a non-stock, non-profit, duly recognized organization at the UP Diliman College of Engineering. Established in 1954, it promotes academic excellence, professional growth, and social awareness to its members through its meaningful events and activities.
For those of you who are looking to shop for the coming Halloween and Christmas season, don’t hesitate to check out Lamido. For more information, visit www.lamido.com.ph.
Wow! Another trusted online shop. 🙂 Yehey! Eversince I become a mum, naging fan na ako ng mga online shops. Easy. Accessible. Fast. Who wouldn’t love that diba?
I came across Lamido once, it looks a lot like Lazada, doesn’t it? Anyway, I went looking for some kitchen stuff that’ s why I came across it. Might try purchasing off it soon! 🙂

I’m interested in trying Lamido, especially ngayon lapit na Christmas. All of my gifts I always order online para no hassle. They are not affiliated with Lazada naman no? Because I’m so disappointed with the latter; lahat ng recent orders namin may palpak (like right now, the order is 15 days delayed na). If they are affiliated, I hope Lamido’s managed by different people.

Lamido can be an excellent place to do trades online. It would also be faster to search alternatives.
