Project Yearbook: Ziggy’s 1st Month Birthday

My baby, Ziggy, has turned one month old already yesterday! How time flies! He has grown a lot since he was born. People are actually surprised that he’s only a month old. Well, it’s not really a surprise to us. His Daddy is big and tall and so Ziggy will most likely be the same. 

We meant to celebrate the occasion out of the house but since it was a Monday, we couldn’t really go out since Kai had work. Last weekend was also hectic for us with Chloe’s baptism and all. We did go to McDonald’s though but that wasn’t really because we meant to celebrate there. So, we decided to celebrate at home instead. 

I really wanted to get cupcakes and put one candle that Ziggy could blow (which actually means Mommy will). Unfortunately, when Kai went out to find some cupcakes  he couldn’t find any since it was still early in the morning and some of the stores nearby were still closed. He did find some Mamon, however, so that’s what we used. We should be given plus points for creativity. We also blew up some balloons that we had in stock here at home. Here’s the Mamon cake we built for Ziggy.

Below is our 2nd family photo taken during the occasion. Ziggy was actually kinda sleepy and it shows in the photo. Hopefully, he’ll be more awake during his 2nd month birthday.
