Last Saturday, Kai and I went to Fort Bonifacio Global City to watch the BGC Passion Parade, which was supposed to showcase different passions. We wanted to watch the giant balloons that were supposed to be featured. It’s the first ever giant balloon parade ever done in Manila and so we didn’t want to pass up on the opportunity. I only wish we could have brought Zoe and Ziya, but since they were out of town with their dad, we were only able to bring Ziggy. Here are photos of the parade.
The first two photos are giant balloons representing the Bonifacio Global City.
This photo below features a giant flower pot filled with pink flower balloons. You can also see a glimpse of the band playing.
Ziya would have loved to see this giant dog balloon. She just loves dogs!
But she would have loved these really cute live dogs better!
Below is a giant balloon representing a Two Serendra, I think. Two Serendra is one of the condominiums located in the area.
For some people, their passion is cycling!
Personally, I really love this giant ice cream cone balloon!
Photography is also a passion, as represented by the camera balloon below. There were lots and lots of photographers during the event.
Here’s a giant boat (or ship?) balloon.
And for some, cars are their passion. Specifically in this case, mini coopers!
It was a cool but short parade. I hope that if ever they do this again next year there will be more participants, more balloons and more passions!
