Oh, I am so excited to finally meet our new helper! You see, our last helper suddenly just left last April. She even lied and said that she just needed a day off to do some errands for her family. Little did we know that earlier that day, when our entire family was out, she already packed up all her things and hid her bag somewhere outside. It was only the next day, when Kai checked the helper’s room, that we found out that all her things were already gone and that she had no plans of returning. That was really frustrating because she could have just told us that she wanted to leave already. What she did was really sneaky and to make matters worse, we found out later on that she also stole some of our rice. We usually have a lot in stock and so it was really surprising to find the container almost completely emptied. Oh well, it’s really hard to get good, trustworthy helpers these days.
Our new helper will be coming tomorrow. My mom, who recently went on vacation to her province, hired the helper from there. So, she met the helper’s family and all. Hopefully, this is someone who can not only do a great job around the house but also be trustworthy and will stay with us for a long time. I’m really so excited to have a helper again because there’s just so much to do around the house, especially with baby Ziggy plus the fact that I am also now homeschooling Ziya. Having a helper to do all the household chores will give me the chance to focus on just my three kids plus give me some time to actually start on my writing jobs. The extra income will definitely be helpful. Personally, I’m just sick of doing the laundry and ironing the clothes. Haha! I’m sorry to sound like such a prima donna but cleaning a house that has four bedrooms and a big bathroom, plus taking care of all three kids is already hard enough. I’m just lucky that the hubby is always helping out. He usually does all the cooking since school started two weeks ago, aside from taking care of Ziggy. It has been very, very, very exhausting so we’re looking forward to finally getting a break!
