Event: Smart Parenting Baby Shower

I don’t know what’s up with my friends lately but it seems like a number of them are pregnant right now, which I think is actually pretty exciting. I love babies! I also love being pregnant because it’s such a blessing to carry a child. It’s a very special moment in a mom’s life. That’s why, I’m trying to be super supportive to these friends of mine, especially to those who are pregnant for the first time, by giving them whatever information I can that can help them get through this exciting journey with flying colors. 

As a mom of a 5-month old baby, I’m constantly on the look out for any event that involves moms and babies. I am so happy to find out that next week there will be another mom event that my preggy friends could benefit from, Smart Parenting Magazine’s Baby Shower. The event for moms-to-be will be held on August 13, 2011, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Emerald A & B Room, Crowne Plaza. The whole afternoon will be full of workouts, freebies and games for the moms-to-be. There will also be Yoga, Baby Talk and Childbirth Class. This is definitely perfect for my friends! I just wish I was able to attend the one they had last year when I was still pregnant with Ziggy.
