A couple of months ago, I blogged about winning a nursery makeover for baby Ziggy courtesy of a popular local parenting magazine. I was super excited because I have never won anything that big before. I really couldn’t wait to finally have Ziggy’s room fixed. However, it turned out to be kind of a long wait because I was the last out of the four winners. This of course means that Ziggy’s room would be the last to be made over.
Well, finally the first day of the makeover happened today! I have no idea how the architect/designer will decorate the place. So far, with what they were able to accomplish today, I know that the main color would be blue and that they will follow the theme that we chose, which were Ziggy’s favorite toys – cars, trains (and other vehicles) as well as balls. I can also already see that they put in more shelves! Yippee!!!! I also know that they’ll be putting in these baskets for organizing that I specifically told them I wanted for Ziggy’s room. Ohhh, I can hardly contain my excitement. Apart from those, though, I don’t know what else they have planned for the room since it’s supposed to be a surprise. Well, I guess I’ll just have to be a bit more patient. They’re targeting to finish the room by Saturday anyway so it won’t be long now.
I’m just so happy that Ziggy’s room will be done before the end of the month because I’ll be starting on my new job by the first of December. Before I start with my new job, Ziggy has to finally relocate from the masters bedroom to his own room. So, the timing of his nursery makeover is just perfect!
I can’t wait, I can’t wait, I can’t wait!
