I have just realized that I only have 6 blog posts so far for this month of November and it’s already almost the end of the month. That makes me really sad because I used to be able to blog at least once everyday. It makes me even more sad because the first anniversary of this blog is actually on November 30 already. I really wanted to give thanks to all my loyal readers by hosting a cool giveaway. Unfortunately, this mom has just been too busy lately – so busy that I usually don’t even have the energy to blog anymore.
To those of you who have been reading this past month, you’d know that after a year of being a stay-at-home mom I will finally go back to the workforce by December 1. That is one of the main reasons why life has been so hectic lately. I had a ton of pre-employment requirements to process. Add to that the fact that I have a new housekeeper and nanny to train well before I go back to work. Other reasons include Zoe celebrating her birthday this month, plus Ziya finally having her First Communion this week, and plus the numerous parties (birthdays, baptism) that we have had to attend. Our weekends, and even our weekdays have been totally jam-packed to say the least. As a result, I have been really, really tired. Though I wanted so desperately to blog, my brain has been too preoccupied with other stuff. Something has got to be sacrificed and in this case, it was the blogging that was put on hold most of the time.
My new job would entail having to endure schedule changes at least every few months. For the first six weeks, the schedule will be really erratic since I will be in training. I really hope that despite this I will still be able to keep up this blog. I have already put so much work into making Roller Coaster Ride the blog that it is now. I really don’t want to waste all that effort. So, you guys, if you don’t hear from me that often anymore, that doesn’t mean I’ve given up blogging for good. I’m still around and I’ll continue to blog as much as I possibly can. I truly hope you’ll stick around.
