A few weeks ago, I was approached by Firmoo.com to do a review on their products and services. Firmoo is a global online optical store. Honestly, I have never heard of the company before because I never thought of buying eyeglasses online. So, I visited their website and I was surprised at how big the company is. I was excited to do a review because I’ve been diagnosed as nearsighted since I was 13. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses and contact lenses ever since.

My Review:
Firmoo asked me to go their website (www.firmoo.com) and pick an eyewear of my choice. There are a lot of different choices to suit your style. They have men’s and women’s glasses, RX sunglasses, bifocals and progressives and more. You can narrow your choices by price, gender, prescription type, quality, PD (pupillary distance), frame, material, shape, size and color. You can opt to customize your glasses too by adding tint or if you want special lenses. As much as I wanted to pick sunglasses, I decided to choose a pair of eyeglasses instead because my extra pair got destroyed recently (thanks to my toddler!).
The package was delivered right to my doorstep only a few days later. The glasses were inside this black pouch and red case. I was pleasantly surprised with these. All of the eyeglasses I’ve purchased since I was 13 only came with a case and no pouch at all.
What I was really happy about were the glasses though. I chose one in pink since what I’m using now is already in purple (my favorite color!). It’s really, really pretty. I love that the metal frame is very lightweight, which is a must for me since I wear glasses practically everyday. It weighs less than 20 grams. Perfect!
See the details on the sides? There are small, silver beaded decorations that shows off the feminine side of me. I love it!
As you will see here, the arms are partially covered with plastic, which makes it more comfortable to wear compared to those that are metal all the way.
What’s more is that Firmoo also included extra pads for the nose, extra screws as well as a screwdriver. Wow! I never got those from my previous purchases from other optical stores.
