Home Office Desk Inspirations

My office desk at home is located in our bedroom. It’s more convenient for me that way because it allows me to watch over Ziggy while he’s sleeping in the afternoon or at night. Also, the only air conditioner we use is usually the one in our bedroom. So, at least I get to work where it’s cold.

Up until several weeks ago, my desk was against a wall that has the biggest set of windows in our room. I hated it because there was no wall to put up boards and stuff. So, finally, hubby decided to rearrange everything in our room so that my desk could face the window-less wall instead. I can finally plan for changing my table and decorating my work space. So, I’ve been looking at home office desk inspirations on Pinterest.

The table I’m using now is an old, bulky wooden office table with three drawers. It’s functional but it doesn’t really look nice. It doesn’t inspire me to work. Once I start earning regularly again, I really want to have a new customized table that has enough storage space and work area but at the same time looks great too. Here’s what I want my office desk to look like.

I like this because it has a lot of drawers. It will make it easier for me to compartmentalize all my office supplies, notepads, planners, etc. What I hate most is clutter so I really need lots of storage space.

In case I still need more storage space though, I’d love to have something like this! I think it would go well with the table. Don’t you think?

But this one below also looks nice. Instead of storage space on the table itself, it has shelves installed right on the wall above the table. Now that my desk is facing a blank wall, something like this is now possible for me. What I really love most is the light installation under the shelves that gives enough light on the desk. I can make do without a separate lamp! What’s hard about working in my bedroom at night is the fact that I have to turn the lights down and make do with a LED light connected to my laptop. This design will be great for me!

I love this other one because it’s white and it’s cute. Plus it has lots of storage space and a big work area too. Sometimes when I work, I have my planner, books, pens, press releases and even food on my desk aside from my laptop. So, a big work space is really a must.

This other design would be great if I can occupy more space in our room. My desk sits beside two other desks – one has our phone and printer on top and hubby’s things in the drawers, while the other has Ziggy’s books. I’m thinking it will also be nice to just get rid of the three desks and have something like this made instead. The shelves can store so many things and the desk area will be big enough to store our phone, printer and more.

This is another similar option. Hubby and I can even share a work space with this design.

But this one I also love because it’s also white, modern and has lots of storage space too. I just don’t like the glass table though.

Hopefully, we’ll be able to decide on the design and save enough to make my dream home office desk a reality.
