Back in April of this year, I very excitedly blogged about my new gig as a writer for a new parenting site called The Asian Parent. I was really so excited and hoped that the gig would continue on to be a long term one because I really wanted to bring my writing career to the next level this year.
Well, what do you know? By the end of June, the editorial team of the Asian Parent decided to invite me and my friend, Patty, to join their roster of regular contributors. This means that we’ll be writing a set number of articles each month and that we’ll get to join the editorial meetings as well. Yay! I’ve always been very curious about what goes on in editorial meetings because I’ve never been to one before. Plus, some of our articles will be published not only on the Philippine site but on the Singapore site as well. So, yeah this is a HUGE deal for me. I’m super, out-of-this world excited!!!!
