As a busy work-at-home mom, I find myself sometimes with no time to cook. If hubby can’t cook either, our usual option is to just have food delivered at home.

Food delivery makes life easier for me because 1) it’s convenient (I can do it while sitting or lying down!), 2) it saves me time from preparing food so I can either spend it with my family or work instead, and 3) it’s fast, which is a must when the whole family is already hungry!

Sometimes though it’s so tedious to try and figure out where to order because you have to look up so many sites just to find what you want to eat and how you can actually order. Good thing I discovered a faster and easier option lately – FoodPanda!

FoodPanda is the quick and easy way to order your favorite meals from 500+ restaurants online. Through Mommy Bloggers Philippines, we were able to try the services of FoodPanda during the long weekend last week.

Ordering from FoodPanda involves only 4 simple steps:

Step # 1: Search

I tried using FoodPanda using my iPad Mini (not through the app but through Safari). All I did was register an account then I just searched for the available restaurants by putting my location on top.

Step # 2: Choose

FoodPanda will give you a list of restaurants available and you can just easily browse through them. As you can see below, you will already be able to see the delivery details of each restaurant such as info on delivery time, delivery fee, minimum order requirement and payment options. To see their menu, just click “go to menu” and you can proceed ordering from there.

I chose to order from Chooks-to-Go because we were craving for chicken. You can see the menu with the prices here but there are options to also view reviews and other info. To order, just click the “+” sign on the food you prefer. It will immediately be added to your cart.

Step # 3: Pay

This is how your cart will look like.

When you’re done ordering, simply proceed to check out, wherein you will have a chance to review your orders as well as other delivery information. Then, you will receive a confirmation email from FoodPanda regarding your order.

Step # 4: Enjoy

Just a few minutes after getting the confirmation email, I got a call from a Chooks-to-Go representative confirming my order as well. Then 30 minutes later, this arrived!

It was our first time to try Chooks-to-Go chicken too and we loved it!

We’re excited to try FoodPanda again the next time we need to have food delivered. I like FoodPanda because 1) their site was very easy to use. I love that it didn’t take long for me to make an order. 2) Although I used the site to order this time, I love that they also have apps available for both Android and Apple devices, which makes it more convenient. 3) They’re really fast. It didn’t take long for them to process and deliver my order. My only wish would be to provide us with more restaurant choices in our area. I think the number of available restaurants vary per city.

Overall, we had a pretty good experience with Foodpanda. To learn more about them, visit foodpanda.ph. For more info about Mommy Bloggers Philippines, visit Mommybloggersphilippines.com.

  1. Will definitely try this. We usually have food delivered at work. Our taste buds are quite picky. :p But, do they accept COD or just credit card payments? 🙂

  2. Sometimes I am left alone in the house and I don’t wanna cook. So instead of eating sandwiches maybe I’ll try ordering online.

  8. I would like to be honest with Food Panda, there is a hassle with the prescheduling of their delivery and ost of the tie they would deliver it anyway.

  9. I’ve heard about this! I don’t know how good it is, but I’m not the type to have food delivered. I’d either cook it myself or go to the restaurant so that it’s still hot and fresh! 😀
