#PlanningForPleasure with The 2016 Mom 24/7 Planner

It’s almost the end of the year and planner addicts like myself know what that means – the 2016 planners are starting to launch! Yay!

So, you know what that means for #PlanningforPleasure too. I’ll be featuring some of them here, of course.

First up on the planner features is Mommy Mundo’s 2016 Mom 24/7 Planner. The Mom 24/7 Planner is every mom’s partner towards a more efficient balanced and mindful life. I’ve been able to use their older versions before and I can tell you that the pages inside are really stuff that every mom will find useful.

This is how it looks like for 2016.

It comes in an artsy geometric print, a prism-like pattern in a burst of colors. Mommy Mundo says that it represents today’s mother: a multi-dimensional woman, a mix of steadfast, stylish, confident, fun, and determined, at the same time gentle, compassionate and powered by love of her family.

It’s very handy an only 6 x 8 inches in size, just like a regular notebook. It is spiral-bound with a sturdy cover and a black elastic band to secure it.

Here’s what it looks inside. There’s a cover page for your personal info. As usual, there’s a bookmark attached to help you find your current page.

For forward planning, there’s a 2016 and 2017 calendar plus a list-type 2016 calendar wherein which you can list down important occasions in advance, such as birthdays and the like.

Every month starts with a calendar and space for your Mom Manifesto on the left. On the right is a to-do list, divided between Personal and Work. I think this can serve as a master list of goals or things to accomplish for the month. Nice!

Every month consists of several pages of Week-on-two-page views. What’s different about this one from the regular planners though is that it is made extra special  for a  mom’s life. Apart from space for your own schedule, it has spaces for your kids’ schedules as well. This makes it easier and faster for moms to track and coordinate the family with just one glance at the weekly spread.

The weekly view also consist of spaces to write down your Mindful Mom moments, as well as goals, ideas, notes, thoughts, and reminders. Some of the pages also have beautiful quotes from other moms.

After all the monthly and weekly pages comes the other pages and perks, starting with several pages of My Child’s Info Sheet, Health Record and Immunization Record.

It also consists of pages for the Parent’s Health Record and even a page for the Household Staff File.

What I find very useful is this Menstrual Tracker, which every woman needs, of course.

There’s also a Menu Maker. I don’t really do meal planning because I tend to cook depending on what I’m in the mood to eat, which changes every day. Haha! But I figure I should start trying it out just to see how it will work out for me.

The Grocery Essentials page is helpful too to list down your pantry must-haves.

There’s one page dedicated for your family travel plans.

There’s also a page with tips on Money Management.

I like the Self-Care page. It reminds us moms that we need to take care of ourselves too.

Then there’s a Party Planner Page and a Kid’s Doodle Page as well.

The last several pages, as usual, consist of a lot of coupons for products and services that moms and their families can use.

I like this Mom 24/7 Planner because of the contents. It really has space for all our mom must-haves. It’s handy too. It’s not too thick so you can easily bring it with you in your bag if you want to.

The paper used, however, might not be thick enough to withstand certain pens, which might cause bleeding at the back. So, you have to be careful with the pens that you decide to use. However, I like that the pages are simple and are in black and white. It leaves me a lot of room for creativity in decorating it. Haha!
