2017 Planning System Review (Plus, My Planners for 2018)

If you’re a regular reader of this blog then you’d know how much of a planner girl I am. If you had no idea, then I suggest you check out my planner account on Instagram.

Well, planner addicts like me, always try to change things up each year with regard to which planners to use. A new year means a new planner or maybe a new planning system. In my case, it’s a bit of both.

I actually filmed a video a few days ago and uploaded it on my YouTube channel. I shared a review of my planning system last year then I showed the planners I’ll be using this year.

Basically, I started with 2 planners last year – my Foxy Fix # 2 Wanderlust in Licorice and my 2017 Starbucks planner. I didn’t exactly end the year still using both planners. Haha! Let’s just say, things changed during the year and so I had to change my planners as well.

This year, I’m starting with 3 planners – my Foxy Fix # 2 Sugar Mochi, my 2018 Starbucks planner and my Foxy Fix # 2 Wanderlust in Licorice.

Why am I using 3 planners this year and only 2 last year? Why didn’t I end 2017 using the same planners I started with? I answer those questions on the video. So, I hope you’ll watch it.

Stay tuned next week because I’ll be sharing a flip through of my main planner for 2018. For now, enjoy the video! Hope you’ll learn something from it especially if you’re looking for planner inspiration. Also, do let me know if you’ll be using a planner this year and which one you’ll be using.

By the way, I’m planning something big for this blog this year. I can’t tell you much yet but it’s something planner-related. Let’s just say it’s high time for some changes around here. But, you’ll have to wait a few weeks to see what it is. Stay tuned!

Happy planning this 2018!

I’m using 3 planners din pala but my planners are simple. I have printed monthly calendar, blog planner and bullet journal. Yey, I’m happy that I’m using a journal na, though I’m not into designing pa. Wala pa arte bullet journal ko. 🙂

I am also addicted to buying planners. I guess its because I can’t seem to find that one perfect one that serves my purpose. Lately though I have only 2 – 1 calendar planner, my starbucks planner (and if it counts my cellphone planner).

I think I need a planner for our homeschool, as well. Well, not necessarily a planner but a calendar of lessons of some sort so we can follow through.

I tried the bullet….parang hindi yata for me. I find it too much to do. I think a planner with dates and sections on it will work better if only I would be consistent with it, instead of me having to write down the sections and all pa. I want one with daily scheduling AND a place to also do some scribbling. But like you, Im not sure I can follow through.

Argh, I still have to figure out what works for me.

Wow! I love planners too, started it last 2012 using a Starbucks planner. Last year, I had 3 planners : 1 wrangler just a freebie and I used it as my travel planners (itineraries + expenses), 1 starbucks planner for my daily journal and a bullet journal by Abby Sy as my kitchen diary but eventually turned out as my recipe book. I have followed your planner IG page, I love your ideas! I’m not a pro in journaling, I’m just updating my planner as a diary/daily scrapbook as well.

I am into planners but not really designing it. It’s mostly for expenses and to do list lang. But I wished to try that kind of planner, soon!

I used a lot of planners in the past but my faves are Erin Condren, Happy Planner and the Starbucks planner. I am currently using the Happy planner and Starbucs planner. I’ll change it back to Erin Condren in 2019 🙂 Nice collection you have there.

I’m into planning as well, but not really the type who would prettify it. I’m just too lazy to do that, so I stick to colorful pens lang and a few stickers. Haha!

I used to be a planner girl before. But now that I stay at home most of the time and have five boys to feed and a house to manage, nawala interest ko sa planners. But now, I am using my planner again and i must say, naaayos ang schedule ko because of that.
