Last July 6, I was invited to attend the re-opening of the Paranaque City branch of Human Nature. I was so excited to go because this branch is particularly close to my heart. It is where I applied as a Human Nature dealer last year, which I actually blogged about here.
Back then, the branch was just a simple store located at the 2nd floor of Santana Grove along Dr. A. Santos Ave. in Sucat. They’ve recently transferred to a bigger, more prominent location at the Ground Floor and has undergone a makeover to make the look similar to the Human Nature concept store in Quezon City.
The event started with a blessing, of course. The event was attended by the branch operators, their staff and other Human Nature supporters.
The program started afterwards. It was such a nice event hosted by their Marketing Director, Melou Dela Cruz.
In attendance, of course, is their branch operator, Atty. Dulce Punzalan, who’s such an inspiration, having accomplished so much in terms of protecting our environment among other things.
Anna Meloto-Wilk, Human Nature Founder and Gawad Kalinga President, also graced the occasion and shared with us how the company first started and how it grew. It’s really inspirational how the company has helped not only the environment but also in terms of giving jobs and livelihood to a lot of Pinoys.
What’s an event without entertainment, right? This occasion was full of songs and dances. Poetry, musical & dance performances were rendered by GK Aya Sibol & Sagip Kids, Siga Youth Acoustic Band, Teatro Flamenco, KeyNotes Band, multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter Elmerjun Hilario, blues guitarist/singer Coach Mel Orosa, GK Bayani Challenge 2013 Teams HN-QC & PQ.
The “Artistic Hearts for Nationbuilding” recognition were also be given to HN-PQ’s Original Pilipino Music icons Mark Escueta (of Rivermaya) & his wife, Jolina Magdangal-Escueta (who wasn’t able to attend) and to HN-UP Village QC’s Cannes Film Festival actress Ms. Angeli Bayani.
I really love the branch’s new look now. It feels more welcoming and relaxing. I love the wood interiors. The shelves were, of course, filled with Human Nature’s wonderful products. They also added some tables and even a small play area for the kids (See my toddler enjoying playing there? He honestly didn’t want to leave!). Plus, there’s a coffee station too because they serve free coffee! 🙂
I do encourage everyone to visit the branch. I have no doubt you’ll love shopping for your favorite Human Nature products there.
Congratulations to Human Nature! 🙂
